"Eclipse" was a bonus in utero when we purchased his thoroughbred dam. He earned his name as he was born the night of a lunar eclipse, and although born a dark bay he exhibited the gray gene, so truely is an "eclipse". Thoroughbred Dam: Hannalore Star is gray and stands 16.2H. She has an wonderful ground covering stride and great scope at the jumps. AQHA Sire: Midnight Starwinds is bay and stands 16.2H. He was professionally shown in barrels.
Gelded as a 3 year old, Eclipse was always a gentle, attentive and willing giant. Currently standing 15.3-16H
Eclipse is big mover with speed and a powerful "transmission". Great conformation. Excellent laid back dispositon. Loves to work. He was started with natural horsemanship, lunges, WTC
Eclipse can be registered with the AQHA as an appendix... I never did as we have no other quarter horses. I have his breeder's certificate and registration papers available for his new owners.
Eclipse is accustomed to running with a herd by day, stalled most nights. He has been a great babysitter for weanlings. He will make someone an awesome competitive partner and companion.
Eclipse is quiet and laid back enough for beginners Bred for speed Eclipse also has power and speed when needed Eclipse needs a home where his talents will be put to good use Special consideration to 4H, Pony Club and show homes Eclipse is offered at $4500 .
