Kwis has recently been used mostly as a brood mare producing two extreme fillies for us
Xqwisit Ciao Ciao Cioccolato and Xqwisit Diva Eivissa
Prior to coming to our Big Sky Ranch Kwis was bred by Betsy Lirakis Top O' The Hill Farm in Vermont by her stunning palomino stallion Colonel Reuben out of her chestnut mare Honeybee Gal She was purchased and raised by Susan Lejonhud of Maine where she was raised as a family horse, trail horse and 4H horse.
Due to her calm, easy going demeanor she is a horse we are very comfortable putting first time riders on (under close supervision, of course!)
Kwis is bonding exceptionally well with Chadd our teen age "second son" and "year round helper" (don't know what we would do without him!:~) Chadd had no experience with horses prior to coming to the Ranch, and is learning not only to ride, but how to create a trusting relationship with the horses. You can see how the two of them are forming a great bond! Just look at how relaxed they are...
We hope to see them continue this lasting rapport and compete in a few distant rides and perhaps a local show or two this summer
